Kilday, Baxter & Associates has been providing accounting and tax services to businesses and individuals in the Illinois Valley for over 30 years. Our company was founded by Jay Baxter in February 1990. Jay was an experienced CPA working for another accounting firm when he decided to establish his own business in Oglesby, IL. We have been operating from that location ever since. Over the years, we built a reputation for being a trusted, leading accounting business in the Illinois Valley.

Julie Kilday was hired by the company in 2015. She brought 13 years of accounting experience — six in the private sector and seven in the public sector — along with a vision to one day own the company. That came to fruition in 2019 when the current partnership was formed under the name Kilday, Baxter & Associates.   

Since the ownership transition, our company has continually grown. In addition to expanding our staff, we have also modernized our processes and system integrations to better serve our customers in the ever-evolving tax and accounting industry. We currently employ multiple full-time CPAs, an enrolled agent, an accountant and an office manager. We have also expanded our online service capabilities for the convenience of our customers while continuing to provide traditional in-person consultations.
